Who are the UK & Ireland tours suitable for?

You will also stay in quality, cyclist-friendly hotels, guesthouses and B&Bs on a bed & breakfast basis. Half board is usually available as an upgrade or included in the package price.

Difficulty Scale

Level 1: Easy biking in nearly flat landscapes, some small hills maybe rode on. You have already cycled for a half-day or a day during the previous month. The daily distances will be between 15-30km a day.

Level 2: Biking in flat to hilly areas. You may encounter some climbs from time to time, including short, but steep gradients. You cycle at least once a month and you are not afraid of hills. You can cycle between 25 and 40 km per day.

Level 3: Biking trips in hilly regions where climbs cannot be avoided. You are used to daily cycling. You can cycle for several days at a time. You are ready to cycle between 35 and 60 km per day with minimum effort.

Level 4: Strenuous biking in mountainous / hilly regions, climbs are longer and steeper than level 3 tours. You often cycle for several days and can easily ride for long distances on gradients or flats.
