Comment: “Fresh air, exercise, beautiful scenery, and something new happening all throughout the holiday. Great staff doing bike transfers and pick ups, especially Jesus and Theresa. Some great staff at hotels. Generally good as all you want is a good shower and a quiet nights sleep in a reasonably priced room. There were, as usual, a few excellent hotels with very good breakfasts. Discount as a regular customer was appreciated. Very varied with coastal and mountain routes. Will definitely go back to Valencia.”

Simon Rutherford gave me confidence in the company. He was knowledgeable and patient and enthusiastic. Simon was outstanding in his customer service. Freewheel bike holidays are outstanding…from their personalised booking process to the end of the trip their processes are efficient and customer friendly…nothing is too much trouble. The e-bikes are fantastic and make it fun to cycle 50 kms in a day! The places visited are great too and you see a lot more from the bike. We also felt no pressure to ride and spent one day with a short ride and combined it with relaxing on the boat watching the beauty of the Danube.”

It was a great holiday in rural Poland. Cycling 6 days between such interesting cities as Krakow and Warsaw.”

The Romantic Heart of Denmark was a great trip for us – a couple in our 70’s and our 14-year-old grandson. The farmlands and ocean vistas were beautiful.”

Every hotel was excellent in different ways. The Passau to Budapest Cycle Ride was one of our best holidays for all round exercise, scenery, people and culture.”

Comment: “Quiet off road cycle paths through beautiful scenery. Hotel Hellstens Malmgard – interesting hotel. Smadalarod – excellent. Stunning setting. Uto Vandrahem – excellent Rex Hotel. Functional, good location. Room adequate. This was a fantastic trip. The first day’s cycling was the longest and took us through pristine, stunning scenery all the way. Other days, you could choose how far you cycled. Orno and Uto were beautiful. The boat journeys were easy and fun and, in fact, the whole trip ran smoothly thanks to our organiser Carmen, who was so helpful and efficient. Overall a wonderful holiday and a great way to see the Swedish capital and countryside.”
